My First Bath

Well, momma finally found the cord for the camera so I can upload all my pix! The latest one was taken on March 20, 2009 so I would say that I am MUCH bigger now!
Anyway, I thought I would share my pictures from the first time I was given a bath! I hated it!

- Wrapped in Towel
I was shaking so bad but Momma made sure I was as comfortable as possible. While I was wrapped in the towel she babied me, and lied down beside the heating vent with me. It was very uncomfortable for her but she didn’t care as long as I got dry, while maintaining comfort.
But one things fo sure, I will never let fleas stay over AGAIN!
What has your momma or daddy done for you that was beyond their comfort? Humans love us so much, we can’t help but love ‘em back
Well, I had to have one of those baths when I first came here. I didn’t have felas, but I had been out in the world all alone for awhile and was D-I-R-T-Y. I think just doing that was uncomfortable for Meowm.~~Orion

Hi Fate, yoo sure are cute. Mom carried Zippy around fur a week after each of her paw surgeries, to the food, to the litter, to her bed…but she sez she was glad to do it. Mom’s love us a lot.

I hadded 3 baths afore I learned not to get shtuff on me. Being white, efurrying shows. I DID NOT LIKE da water, but da shnugglin in the towel was nice. Stay away frum fleas an chocolate milk, an always clean up affer da litter box – dat’s how to avoid baths.
Mom always lets me sleep next to her, unner da covers, efun if she’s too warm or I stretch an accidentally scratch her a tiny bit. Dad don’t like it, but Mom lets me in anyway.

Hi, Fate. I’m glad you got your first bath over with and got rid of the fleas. I learned to sleep on my back all night, so that my cat could sleep on my chest. She loved to knead my “pillows” so I gently taught her not to use her claws.
